One video is rarely enough to find out what works. Different openings, arguments and calls to action help show what audiences respond to. AI tools speed up preparing these variants, provided the product stays true to life and you approve the direction before publication.
At CopperAndCraft, I prepare short advertising creatives for my own products. I bring that experience to my service for manufacturers and craft brands.
Why prepare variants?
Rather than one “universal” video, it is better to prepare 2–4 versions of the same material. They differ in:
- the opening or hook,
- the main argument,
- the call to action,
- possibly the voice-over or pace.
This lets you test what attracts attention without changing the product itself.
What can change?
- The opening: the first 2–3 seconds
- The order of arguments
- On-screen text and CTA
- The voice-over or virtual presenter, if used
- Length and pacing
What must stay unchanged?
- The product’s appearance, texture and proportions
- Information about material, dimensions and properties
- What the product actually does
If an AI shot distorts an important detail, I replace it with a real photo or recording. Read more in Product video and AI advertising.
How this fits the service
I prepare ad variants within the product video and advertising creative service. They can complement a product’s presentation in a Shopify store or on Etsy.
Good photos make the work easier: see Preparing product photos for online sales.
Summary
AI ad creatives make sense when you want to prepare several versions of the same material quickly for testing. The product must remain truthful, and you approve the direction before publication.
