My name is Bartosz Domin. Since 2018, I have developed CopperAndCraft, my own brand of copper and brass products. I built its Etsy shop from scratch, worked on photos and descriptions, answered buyers’ questions and organised international sales. Today I use that experience at Domin Commerce to create websites, stores and product presentation materials.
I want to show what I built and how it shaped my work. These results concern sales of my CopperAndCraft products. They are not client service results or a guarantee of future revenue, traffic or sales.
What I built with CopperAndCraft
On 12 October 2026, the public Etsy shop counter showed 4,011 sales. The rating was 4.9/5 from 970 reviews. This is a documented snapshot from one day; the figures do not update automatically. Etsy’s public sales counter does not mean the number of individual orders.
My summary of Etsy Shop Manager data for 2018–2026 records USD 1,339,143.90 in revenue from CopperAndCraft product sales. This is revenue, not profit. Materials, production, platform fees, packaging, transport and other operating costs must be considered. This figure does not determine what another shop will achieve.
You can visit CopperAndCraft on Etsy and read the data sources and reporting period. I also collected figures about running my own shop in a separate article. This is my own business, from which I draw practical lessons for later projects.
What products and marketing taught me
Craft buyers need specific information. They ask about dimensions, finish differences, what a set contains and how to use it. With copper, patina and how a surface looks in light also matter. The photo, description and selected variant should describe the same product.
I handled product presentation, quotes, customer messages and shipping myself. I know the situation where a customer has incomplete dimensions and a purchase takes several conversations. I also know the work needed to prepare a product for safe transport. That informs my questions before preparing a listing or website.
I start marketing by understanding the product and how the buyer decides. A clear offer, photos showing material properties and text answering real questions help. In video and advertising, I keep presentation consistent with the actual product. Visual impact does not replace information about what the customer is buying.
From Etsy to Shopify and business websites
CopperAndCraft’s next step was an independent Shopify store and catalogue preparation for new markets. I worked on descriptions, variants, units and product structure. Polish and German brand websites followed. Etsy remained a separate sales channel.
This requires checking data consistency, image assignments and differences between variants. Importing alone does not ensure each detail is correct. Read more in the Etsy to Shopify catalogue migration guide.
I bring the same care to business websites. A manufacturer’s customer may need specifications and an enquiry form. A brand with ready-made products may need a store with a cart. Scope follows the ordering process and available materials.
How I work on a project
I work with selected people and brands. Before starting, I check whether my experience and approach fit the project. A clear scope, access to materials and practical cooperation matter to me.
I first ask about products, the current shop or website and what makes work harder today. We check existing photos and descriptions, the number of variants and required languages. Then we agree concrete tasks and acceptance criteria.
- Etsy support can include launch, an audit or changes to agreed listings.
- For Shopify, store construction and larger catalogue work are scoped separately.
- A business website should help customers understand the offer and take the next step, such as sending an enquiry.
- I prepare video and advertising creatives from product materials and an approved direction.
My own shop experience helps me spot specific problems. The manufacturer must still confirm specifications, materials and properties. Your factual review is therefore needed before publication.
My work has a price
I base pricing on the scope we agree. Depending on the project, you pay for checking data, structuring information, preparing copy, building a website or store and agreed implementation work. More products, variants or languages mean more work and decisions. The quote should reflect that.
I do not sell guaranteed revenue or Google positions. Outcomes also depend on product, price, demand and subsequent business work. CopperAndCraft’s achievements show my own experience; they do not replace those conditions in your business.
If important materials are missing or new tasks appear, we discuss their impact on scope and price. Before starting, we check whether the proposal fits your goal and budget. I prefer clarity about what will be done and how we will review it.
Where we can start
Show a few products and tell me what is ready. You might need your first Etsy listings, improved descriptions or a website that collects enquiries better. That lets us discuss a concrete task.
